Day 1- Lots of Road

In order to get out to Colorado as soon as possible, 500+ mile days are going to be the norm. We hit it really hard the first day in order to get a good start.

It took everyone awhile to get their "sea legs" in the RV...as straight as Dave drives, the RV tends to have a bit of sway to it, which makes it hard to read, do homework, draw, etc. But now that we've got a day behind us, everyone is feeling right at home.

We made it to Cave City, Kentucky (after a long stretch between London, KY and Glasgow, KY...which everyone thought was funny) by 10pm the first night.

We start tomorrow early with a trip to Mammoth Caves and then on to Louisville and Churchill Downs.
