We started off today with Mammoth Caves, the world's largest cave system.
The temp was around 50 degrees down in the cave so we all took a fleece or hoodie.It was a lot of fun navigating "The Bottomless Pit" and "Fat Man's Misery".
After the caves we hit the road for 3 hours to make it to Louisville to visit Chur
chill Downs. The museum was closed because of a recent flood, but we got to tour the grounds and visit the gift shop.The kids were fascinated by the room full of people gambling on horses.
We finished the day with another few hours of driving to Evansville, Indiana.
