We started in East Kansas City KOA in Missouri with an early morning mini-golf game followed by Clue.
Then we hit the road....
Eventually we came to a Smoky Hill Bison Farm in the middle of Kansas. We jumped out of the RV with excitement. We saw a small herd of buffalo. We spent awhile in the gift shop picking out buffalo souvenirs. We wanted the giant bison "teddy" for our room but dad said "no!".
It was a long drive through Kansas and it was flat as far as the eye could see. We saw a group of large modern windmills that looked really cool.
We saw and eventually drove through a very bad lightning storm. It was beautiful from far away but very scary when we were in the middle of it! We didn't make it to Colorado until very late. I fell asleep.
